Bad Becky
It was a
warm day in autumn, and two best friends were planning an adventure. They lived
in an ancient rural town that has nothing ever to do so Valorie and Nessa has
done everything that they could’ve but that’s when Nessa had an idea.
“What if we
go to that old house, you know the Becky one.” Nessa said curiously.
Valorie
turned her head quickly to look at Nessa in disagreement.
“Are you
crazy?” she responded. Valorie is a very fragile person and gets scared easily.
But she also is very loyal to her friend and would do anything. Nessa begged
Valorie to go giving her all sorts of reasons until Valorie finally gave in.
It was the
night that they were going to go to the shack, the wind was howling, and the
wildlife was silent. Nessa was getting ready to sneak out of their house to
explore the old, abandoned shack that was supposedly haunted. Valorie was
already their waiting for her, it had been ten minutes, and she started to feel
uneasy so messaged Nessa ‘are you nearly here I’m getting kind of scared’ then
a bike rolled around the corner, Valorie jumped.
“Phew, it
just you” Valorie sighed as she greeted Nessa.
The two
girls stared into the large field; the dry grass was almost as tall as them, it
swayed in the wind almost covering the dirty gravel path. Valorie and Nessa
began their journey walking along the path, it crunched with every step they
took breaking the unusual darkness. They finally arrived to the old shack, its
roof creaked like a broken floorboard and the wind whistled through the cracks
on the house.
“I am not going
in there.” Valorie shrieked
But Nessa
persisted grabbing Valorie’s arm and dragging her to the front verandah, the
front door stood in front of them. It looked neglected, Nessa reached out to
the handle and the door creaked open revealing a shadowy darkness. The room was
filled with a faint smell of sweetness, the glowing moonlight glared down into
the house illuminating the inside. Nessa stepped into the shack unfazed by the
feeling of dread surrounding the house. Valorie looked at Nessa with worry in
her eyes begging to leave when before an abrupt rustling came from the corner
knocking over a bucket, the tiles in the floor scraped together as Nessa cautiously
step towards it. Valorie’s eyes widened, and she whispered
“I think we
should leave.”
Without
care Nessa responded, “Well be right, surely.”
Scared to
go back alone Valorie awkwardly walked behind Nessa but still trying to see
what was there, the fallen bucket was now right in front of them and instantly
Nessa snatched it to find nothing, but Valorie did
“Um what’s
that?” Valorie pointed at a hole in the floor
Nessa’s
eyes adjusted and saw it, there was a set of stairs heading down like a basement
her filled with excitement, and she sprinted to the stairs and began to walk
down it, hesitantly Valorie stood trying to be stubborn but ran after Nessa
calling her name. After they reached the bottom of the short set of stairs a
door slammed at the top. Quickly Nessa ran to the top of the stairs finally realizing
what was happening,
“Its
locked.” She said turning on her torch
Valorie’s
face dropped and Nessa walked past her further into the basement. As they
walked further into the basement they found a massive playground with slides,
tunnels and obstacles. Confused they walked towards it and then they heard a
loud whistling come from behind them, they spun around and saw a silhouette staring
at them from where they has just came from, it had long eyelashes had no hair
and really big lips, it was also had a lead that lead to a dead rotting dog corpse
that dragged on the floor beside her as she walked closer. A high pitched British
mumble came from it.
“Hello, I am
Bad Becky and I’m very bad.”
Becky
pulled out a bunch of strings and crawled on the wall onto the roof, the
strings attached to the dog and she made it start to chase the girls. Nessa
told Valorie to run and that’s what they did, they ran into the playground
ducking down through the tunnels and the Becky chased them with the dog, it
started to chomp at them when suddenly Nessa fell over and Becky got her. The
bog bit Nessa on her shoulder spraying blood all over her.
“Oh oh what
have you got all over your face” Becky muttered to Nessa
Nessa
screamed in agony as Valorie tried to help her but couldn’t avoid the dog. The
dog was gnawing and Nessa pulling her flesh apart with its human teeth Becky
sowed onto it. After a few seconds Nessa fell unconscious dying from lack of
blood, Valorie smiled and Becky dropped the strings and came down to Valorie’s
level. Valorie reached behind her head and peeled off her skin revealing an old
lady with white curly hair, her long purple vintage dress rolled onto the floor
and she looked into Becky’s eyes.
“Grandma!” Becky
excitedly exclaimed running in for a hug
Becky’s
grandma stopped her and started to chant her name
“Bad Becky,
Bad Becky, Bad Becky.”
Becky fell
to the floor and her soul felt free and her grandma began to explain
everything.
“I know
your grandpa beat you but I never loved him because I was being coerced into
marring him but now your back and your free to kill whoever you want”
Becky
smiled for the first time in years and ran up the stair jumping into the sky racing
towards the nearest town.
